2013 in a wrap!

Assalamualaikum people Life has been busy, life has been great All praises to Him for every second blessed with rahmah Alhamdulillah So its 2014 tomorrow. Lets recap what had happened along these amazing months in 2013. January 1. Celebrated my man's birthday for the first time, hundreds kilometers away of course. He was in Kuantan and I was in Johor. 2. Both of us were excited as he got an offer letter to a new workplace in KL, which means, we were getting closer in distance. February 1. During the Chinese New Year Break, we went to Tekam Plantation Resort together with his family. It is a great place for a short getaway from city. It is really cold early in the morning as the place is surrounded by hundreds trees and somehow I felt like I was not in Malaysia. 2. On the 4th February ( SEMSAS 9802), my man is officially working in an oil and gas company in the heart of Kuala Lumpur city. So, good bye to the idea of settling down in Kuantan. Hellooooo KL! In the meantime, we alterna

PMR 2013

I had been in this Chinese High School for 5 days of examination and these were few things I have learnt through my observation. 1. They do no have any cleaners. Each morning before class, during recess, and after class, the representatives of class will bring down their dustbin to the dumping area. And the school compound is very clean too. 2. Since they do not have cleaners to swipe the corridor and stairs, someone has to do it. Yes. Every morning before the school starts,  I can see some of the students swipe along the corridor, as well as the stairs. I think this is the coolest thing ever. It is sad enough because while the students here manage their own litter, at our normal school, some inconsiderate parents are complaining during the Parents Teachers Meeting. They say, they do not send their children to pick rubbish. I was like whaaatttt! Something is wrong with the parents I would say.  3. I think 99% of the students are taking bus to school. During peak hours, I co

29 Syawal 1434

Alhamdulillah. All praises to Allah. It has been a year since the akad. The ceremony was on the night of 29 Syawal 1433, at 9.45 p.m right here in my house. It feels like yesterday I was busy preparing stuffs for the wedding. I still can remember the feeling right after I woke up on the morning of the historical day. I was like, owh Elun, this is the day. And after tonight, I cannot regret and bear on whatever comes across. Haha. To tell the truth, I still had my istikharah prayer till few hours before the akad.  My heart kept asking,  Am i doing the right thing? Is he the one whom I will get married to? What if this is wrong? Can I go back and fix it? What if he is not the one for me? What if what if what if? However, all those questions disappeared, the moment he touched my hand on the very first time. I still can remember his smile on his face right after the akad. It was like the answer of everything. And after I shook and kissed his hand, only Allah knows

Penang Top 5

To all my Penang clans, dont get offended okay. We just came out with these, after few series of occasion and we really need to record it for future action taken. Hahaha. This is for fun, and insyaAllah, when we both together reading this again in 20 years time, we can reminisce those funny moments we had in Penang. 5. Most people in Penang will stop whenever the traffic light is yellow. No one pushes the pedal and speeds. They will just slow down and wait for the light to be red. A good deed to be cultivated among us. 4. Most people in Penang like to talk really loud. I mean really loud.  3. They are really confident. You know, if you want to turn to a big crossword, you can simply go, without stopping AT ALL. You just have to be very confident that there is always someone to give you way. LIKE SERIOUSLY. hahahah 2. They are KEBAL. This is refer to the pedestrians. If you want to cross the road, just do so. The car will stop for you. Hahaha. 1. Some people are too

The Short and Sweet Escape 1 (Part 2)

Assalamualaikum people The view form our suite in the morning :) We woke up to have the kinda Chinese breakfast in the hotel cafe. I just had toast and cereal, enough to start off the day. First thing to be done, was buying jeruk for my craving sister. Haha. So early in the morning, we walked in midst of city to find this: It was awak-boleh-rasa-semua-yang-ada thingy. So we did. Hahaha. I felt bloated afterwards. Like seriously. I am the wild fan of jeruk kot. But not jeruk bawang putih.  A BIG NO.  Next, we off to Penang Hill as someone was being so jakun to go up there. Yup, me. Haha. Along suggested us to go up early in the morning so that the fluffy clouds and fog were still there. It was a bit chilly up there.  Since our life motto is NO PRESSURE , so we just drove in to Butterworth. And lastly, back to Georgetown, before we headed to the giant Queensbay Mall for a proper lunch and charging phone purpose. Haha. It was raining hea

The Short and Sweet Escape 1 (Part 1)

Assalamualaikum people So, here I am, lying on the bed, half awaken as I am pretty sure the jab by the doctor earlier this morning was really worked. I could  not sleep more as I think I was still excited, resulted from the short weekend getaway we had yesterday. Last week, I was away from school for 3 days for Basketball Tournament of Pontian District in Kukup. It was an exhausted event and I could not help myself to sleep all the way on the bus to KL on that Friday night. All I know, I was in TBS around 12 and husband picked me to my brother's crib in Bandar Seri Putra. After about 3 hours of sleeping, we woke up around 4.30 to catch our 6.40 am flight. We decided to park the car there and I think that would be the first and last time to do so as the fee parking was    CRAZYYY. Haha.  So yay it was our first flight together. I was a frequent alone traveler ( Well, the flight attendant of MAS always used to treat me as an underage passenger. I took tha

17th January 2013

Assalamualaikum people My goal this is year is to write more InsyaAllah. So here I am again. Today was another amazing day for me. Alhamdulillah 1. We had our Annual Cross Country today so I had to punch in around 7.00 a.m. Today, one of my student's mom came and met me. She handed me a pack of homemade bihun goreng which was still warm, as an indicator that she was just prepared it this morning and, and asked me to eat. For some people, it might mean nothing, but for me, it was a BIG thing. It was not only the homemade, packed food, it was the thought that counted. Thanks for putting up a smile on my face early in the morning. Semoga Allah murahkan rezeki puan dan keluarga and boleh prepare packed food for me again kihkihkih 2. On my way back home, the husband sent me a picture showing the offer letter. Yup. The offer letter from PETRONAS that secures a place for the husband, based in KL. Like I have been tweeting, this is just a kickoff of something great and

To Win Husband Hearts

Assalamualaikum People 10 Tips For Muslim Wives To Win Hearts Of Their Husbands 1. ATTRACT HIM WITH YOUR BEAUTY. All women have the ornaments that Allah blessed them with.  Use the beauty Allah – Azza wa Jal – has bestowed you with to win the heart of your husband. 2. GREET HIM IN A NICE WAY. Imagine your husband coming home to a clean house, an exquisitely dressed wife, a dinner prepared with care, children clean and sweet smelling, a clean bedroom – what would this do to his love for you? Now imagine what the opposite does to him. 3. REVIEW THE CHARACTERISTICS OF THE HOOR AL-AYN AND TRY TO IMITATE THEM The Qur’an and Sunnah describe the women in Jannah with certain characteristics.  Such as the silk they wear, their large dark eyes, their singing to their husband, etc.  Try it, wear silk for your husband, put Kohl in your eyes to ‘enlarge’ them, and sing to your husband. 4. ALWAYS WEAR JEWELLERY AND DRESS UP IN THE HOUSE. From the early years, little girls h

The Year 2012 Recapitulate

1. January I could not recall what had happened this month. My cousin, Andi got married. 2. February Umi finally retired and stayed at home. Since then, she has became healthier and stronger. Now, she is 55kgs. (Well she was 37kgs back in 2007) This is maybe because she has nothing to stress about like what she used to in the school. So, yeah alhamdulillah. 3. March My cousin, Yuhan got married with Hakiem and I could not be there both at the solemnization and reception as we had sekolah ganti on that Saturday. Sabar je laaa. 4. April My 27th birthday. The month when he said he wanted to meet my parents officially with his family. I would love to take that as proposing as it was out of nowhere. Haha. Meaning, seru nak kawin dah datang just like that. At first, he planned to come on my birthday (sweet please) but since he told me slightly late and few things here and there, we postponed it to the next month.  Owh yeah another big thing was, we won the title of
